Bidding

In case you can’t participate personally at our auctions you have the option to place a written bid previously to the auction and send these bids to us via post, fax or as PDF via email. Additionally it is possible to bid by telephone. In any case the acceptance of a bid will take place at the lowest possible price. In case you are bidding for the first time at our auction we would be glad to advise you by telephone about the procedure. 

Written bids

We have to receive your written bids (via post, fax or as pdf via email) at the latest 24 hours due to the auction. For written bids please use the bid form which is printed in our catalogues or print the PDF below. If requested we would be glad to send you the bid form via email or post as well.

Telephone bids

Telephone bids may be submitted above a minimum limit of 250,-€ and will only be considered if a written order exists. The telephone bidders commits himself to bid at least the limit price. The order is binding and made in accordance with the conditions of sale. We have to receive the telephone at the lates 24 hours due to the auction in writing via post, fax or as pdf via email. Therefore please use the bid form which is printed in our catalogues or print the PDF below. If requested we would be glad to send you the bid form via email or post as well.

Please name the Lots on the bid form you would like to bid for as well as your address and telephone number where you will be available during the auction. As soon as we receive your telephone bid will we provide you with a time slot, within which you are supposed to be available. Shortly before your lot is due to be auctioned, one of our staff will call you.

The auction house is not assuming liability for:

a) realization and maintaining of the telephone connection

b) a not realized acceptance of a bid caused by failure of the telephone connection.

Buyer's premium

The buyer’s premium on the winning bid amounts to 20 % plus valid VAT on the rate of commission. The VAT is a compulsory domestic tax regulated by law, which will exclusively be charged on the commission and potential transport costs, not on the value of the goods.
